Advertisement (iklan) adalah salah satu dari text fungsional (functional text). Advertisement adalah text yang berisi iklan, baik itu iklan product maupun iklan lowongan kerja.
Dengan kata lain, advertisement menurut jenisnya dapat dibedakan menjadi 2 :
